Red Hot Chili Peppers Record Again

November 19th, 2009 Val No comments

After all the rumors of dissolution, the group confirms the contrary, there is no end of band and are working on their next album

Red Hot Chili Peppers is a funk-rock band formed in Los Angeles (California) in 1983 which followed the post-grunge movement. During most of their career, the group has been formed by singer Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante, bassist Michael ‘Flea’ Balzary, and drummer Chad Smith. The band has fused its style different musical genres from rock and funk to rap, punk-rock, psychedelic rock and hard rock, thereby achieving success within reach of a few: having sold 70 million records.

Chad Smith, drummer of the band said: “We are taking a break, relaxing. We’ve been touring for a year and a half, now it’s time to be with family and recharge to get back to create more music together.”

Recently, Anthony Kiedis said to the “Rolling Stone” magazine that for the moment, and throughout 2009, you would not hear about the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and has been so far. He added that his hiatus as a band would last this year alone.

“Right now we are no longer a band,” says Kiedis. “It took a long time to make ‘Stadium Arcadium’ (published in 2006). It was tough, it was a big effort joined to previous two pulls very long as ‘Californication’ and ‘By The Way’” he said.

“I really do not ever stop until the tour ended last year. We were emotionally and mentally burnt after that effort,” continued Kiedis, and then quipped: “Then, after talking all together, the final decision was” Do not do anything related to Red Hot Chili Peppers for a year or more. Let us endeavor to live, breathe, eat and learn new things. ”

Regarding what is going to spend your free time, Kiedis said that for now only stay at home: “I’m sticking to my youngest son, learn to surf … But the bug is starting to bite that says wouldn´t it be nice to think of new songs and to compose some pieces. But they are just that, pieces.

In an interview with Chad Smith in the British magazine Q, the drummer gave back in hopes of a return to the fans, making it clear: “No, we haven´t broken up” he said. “We’re not playing now, but damn!, We played a lot. It was just time to grab a little break and live life. We are not machines!”.

However, Smith confirmed: “We make music when we feel it is right. You can not force someone to do something. If they’re feeling, then why do it? Better do something else, then return with more energy.

On September 25, 2009 The Red Hot Chili Peppers were nominated for the Walk of Fame Rock along to ABBA, The Chantels, Jimmy Cliff, Kiss, Darlene Love, The Stooges and Donna Summer, among others.

Nowadays the Red Hot Chili Peppers are already in the studio since last October. Their next album will not appear until autumn 2010. So far we only know that will address a more electronic point than the last one.

The British singer confirms the return of Take That. A hard point out to the market, Robbie has already begun recording with his former band .

Robbie Williams’s return to music has not left anyone indifferent. His barrage of hits from both public and critics after its passage by the BBC worldwide love back to those who anxiously awaited him.

Now, just a few days after the publication of “Reality Killed the Video Star” on 9 November, and after successfully submitted their single ‘Bodies’ and his second hit ‘You Know Me’ the singer launches a bomb to media: Take That definitely joining again.

The first encounter with his former boy band mates came in September. When Take That came back almost a year ago, Robbie flatly refused to participate in the reunion (even at the meeting edited on DVD), and his companions continued without him. Take That are now succeeding as in its heyday during the 90s.

After the meeting in September, there have been much more complicated, good feelings, memories and, ultimately, frindship. Gary and Robbie are friends. So much so that after being reunited with Jason and Howard on the occasion of the bachelor party for Mark Owen organized an exclusive club in Soho in New York, Robbie Williams went into a tattoo shop and was shot in the arm near the wrist, the symbol of Take That.

According to Europa Press, Robbie did not disclose anything during his interview on the BBC: “I can not say too much, just that we have come together and we made some small things.” According to previous reports, former band members have already spent a time composing new songs for a hypothetical return of Take That, tour included.

And since the beginning of the reunification process of Take That, rumors about the addition of Robbie Williams broke. However, the artist chose to focus on his album “Reality Killed the Video Star”, which made him lose an opportunity to participate in a multibillion-dollar tour confirmed the return of the former boy band into the studio and on stage.

However, it appears that both Williams and the other components of Take That have this thorn stuck. Already in the “Ultimate Tour” of 2006 in one of the songs featured a 3D hologram of Robbie singing with the rest of the members of the group, and has not stopped speculation about joining ever so far, which is already confirmed.

Steven Tyler Quits Aerosmith

November 9th, 2009 Val No comments

As had been speculated and it was almost a fact, Steven Tyler, and today ex-singer of Aerosmith, quit the group according to guitarist Joe Perry. As held by the guitarist to Las Vegas Sun

“To my knowledge, Steven resigned. I do not know more than you about this. Last night I saw on the Internet that Steven said he was quitting the band. I do not know how long, or whatever beyond that, I do not know.

Perry did not want him to cancel more concerts. He really wanted to do these last four shows. We did not want to call for anything and be angry for any reason. So we stopped it there. We did concerts, I flew and I saw this online.

(Steven) has not been in touch with me or with others. ”

As for the future of Aerosmith and a possible new frontman, Perry continues.

“Right now I’m seeing how we will continue. Aerosmith is a powerful band, is like a steam locomotive. You can´t ignore 40 years of four people playing together, so, well as they did. We are trying; at least I see what direction the band should take.

As to replace Steve, is not that, they are also four people who play well together, and I will not see how it is wasted. In truth we do not know which path to take at this point, but probably find someone else to sing in that place where we need a vocalist and get on with Aerosmith, improve the vibe. “
